The #1 reason we started Sea Salt Glow®  was the obvious problem we saw with leading luxury brands and their usage of toxic and harmful ingredients in their bath soaks (and other products). Fragrances, colorants, fillers and other additives were crammed into formulations, sometimes with no evident purpose (fillers) and the after-use reactions we got from their products were alarming. Dry, irritated skin, stained hair, headaches from artificial aromas… there were countless problems from countless brands. From the start, we were focused on ensuring our ingredients were of the world’s highest quality, had performance and experience benefits that really had an impact, and handcrafting products with thought and care for our valued customers. To this day, our natural luxury bath soaks have 50+ 100% natural ingredients and are made in the USA, by our original founding team. 

We’ve had multiple offers from major manufacturers in the USA and abroad, offering us the chance to industrialize our operations, produce our bath soaks in mass, using machines like the rest of the industry is doing. While handcrafting our bath soaks is much slower, takes more effort, requires HUMANS and as a business we make less money, that’s never going to change. Handcrafting ensures our unique and specific processes are supervised by expert Master Formulators who actually care about the finished product and our customer’s satisfaction. Using machines would require us to lower our quality standards and this would fail our mission from the very first conveyor belt drop.
